Report of 1,221 attending Sunday School in late February, 1914

One hundred ten years ago Bluffton Sunday schools were bursting at the seams, according to this report in the Bluffton News.
From the Feb. 26, 1914, Bluffton News – Last Sunday was a record-breaker for Sunday school attendance in the village of Bluffton. The total number reported was 1,221.
The following was the attendance at the difference schools:•Methodist, 318
This growth explains why a new building was constructed the following year
• Mennonite, 279
• Disciples, (became Church of Christ) 264
• Reformed, (became St. John’s UCC) 172
• Presbyterian, 103
• Lutheran, 85
