A winter's day on the railroad

Here's a scene that you won't find today in Bluffton. This photo was taken in the early 1980s.

Gone is the Nickel Plate Road passenger station on the far left. The depot is now located at the Spring Street side of the Buckeye quarry.

Also gone is the side track where the lone box car sits in the photo. Also gone is the freight house on the right side of the photo.

And, the tall elevator on the north side of the freight house no longer exists.
