Here's the snowfall of the decade of the 1920s in Bluffton
It's March. When did it snow last? The winter of 2022-23 turned out to be a dud for sledders, ice skaters and cross-country skiers.
Can't remember the last time it snowed? In case not, here's a photograph of Bluffton University's Science Hall in the 1920s after a rather heavy snowfall.
Based upon this photo, we'd say this could be the snowfall of a decade.
Much has changed in the century since this photo was taken. You can't take a photo from this view today because Centennial Hall stands in the way. And, the building in the photo no longer has an entrance from its center - six doors!
. The steps remain but the doors no longer open.
