The perfect winter scene in Bluffton in the 1890s
Can you imagine a more charming winter Bluffton scene? It's the perfect Bluffton Christmas card. Just start singing "Dashing through the snow, in a one-horse open sleigh."
Experiencing those lyrics are nearly impossible today, but this Bluffton 1890s-era Main Street photo proves that it did happen.
The photographer is standing across the street from today's Ryan DeMarco's Edward Jones office all the way, nearly to The Dough Hook.
Look closely at the horse. It has sleigh bells.
