In 1937 you could take the Nickel Plate Railroad from Bluffton to Cleveland, round-trip for $2.50 per person.
The special price was part of "bargain Sunday excursion" to the Great Lakes Exposition. Bluffton had a ticket agent in the passenger depot, located in 1937 on Railroad Street.
That depot was moved to the Buckeye in the 1980s and today is the Bluffton Sportsmen's Club depot on Spring Street.
