This was Main Street Bluffton in 1959

Did you know that in 1958-59 there was a hotel on the second floor of what is today Reichenbach and Steiner CPA?

That's where the "Hotel" neon sign hangs in this Main Street photo from six decades ago in downtown Bluffton, Ohio. Do you suppose it was a Terry and Jack Neon Sign created in Lima?

We'll allow your mind to wonder up and down Main Street as you check out this photo.

It looks like a 1955 Mercury is parked along the street. It sits behind what appears to be a 1951 or so Dodge pickup truck.

On the other side of the street is a Western Auto store sign, a Foot So Port shoe store sign and at the corner of Main and Church you can see the "old" Citizens National Bank with a clock looking both ways. You can see a portion of that clock frame today in the bank's front window.

We'll consider that every vehicle in the photo was a V-8 lead-gas-only gas gussler.
